Ella Frigyik
Researcher
I am a researcher in the lab, originally from Kenya, broadly interested in the molecular phylogenomics and biogeography of a wide range of invertebrate taxa. While I love all inverts (except house centipedes), I have a particular fondness for harvesters, crustaceans, and bees. Currently I am working on several projects related to widespread Opiliones taxa across New Zealand. I also assist our team with their various projects—come chat about Gondwana or UCE protocols anytime! Outside of research, I am passionate about literature and expanding access to science.
